Me after a run: god that felt so good. I wanna run everyday! I might go back out in a few hours for a second run! . The next day : um that was fun. But I don’t need to do it again for awhile. . I grew up going for runs with my mom on a trail in Farmington Hills, MI. I think it was Heritage Park. And at eleven years old, I learned to love trail running. I wasn’t fast or consistent even back then. But it was something that made me happy. I’ve always cherished those runs with my mom. . I’ve never run to lose weight. It’s like a meditation for me. It always clears my heads and gives me all the endorphins. . Living in cities for the past 12 years, my favorite runs have been along Lake Michigan or Lake Erie. And I love the water (written about that many times before). But there is something amazing about trails. And I just found a gorgeous trail with a creek that makes my heart smile. I went on Sunday and haven’t been back. But I like knowing that this trail is around the corner from me. . . . . . #colorado #clearcreek #denver #denvercolorado #denverrunning #runningindenver #trailrunning #exerciseformentalhealth #runningismeditation #therapeuticrunning #therapeuticrun (at Wheat Ridge, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0ZB0pRJzGy/?igshid=b1acjzq12ysa
