Way to go Old Spice.
I mentioned to my wife this weekend if she'd noticed the lady at church with the cool outfit. My wife asked what I was talking about. I told her the woman who was dressed as either a Gypsy Fortune Teller or Rodeo Royalty. My wife said no she hadn't and if I had paid any attention to the sermon. I told her of course I did. She said so what was it about this weekend? I told her it was about how god is working hard for us and he is everywhere. She then made a face at me and said you spent all of the church time in your own little world. I told her well yes but with Jesus. Discussion closed. I did notice later in the day we dropped in the store and I was in the deodorant aisle. I never realized Old Spice has a whole new scent collection. (New scents that are game changers.) Let me list some for you. First off Gentleman's Blend, then Figi, but then they get interesting. They have the scent "Volcano", who wants to smell like a volcano? They also had the Deep Sea scent and Harbor scent. (I assume with either of those you'll pick up a bit of a Pirate accent.) I love it when I can work in the words "Blow me Down" or "Scallywag". I was intrigued with the Old Spice Swagger collection, the one labeled "Captain" which is labeled to have a touch of Bravery in it. What! How does that work? Rub a bit of that on and I immediately go from mild-mannered me to Braveheart. Watch out world. Something like that worries me about what if I become too irresistible. I asked my wife if she could handle me using a touch of the Old Spice Volcano scent. Who knows what could erupt? She said: I know what will erupt, I've been there and seen that. I suggested I could try the Old Spice "Wilderness" scent. That could lead to things getting wild. She said: "No thanks Honey, I got the Discovery Channel." She is not really encouraging at times. She had a chance of the Volcano but with her lack of enthusiasm Speed Stick here I come.
