I got a buttcheek injection at the doctors today
I was soooo brave (I made my Mam hold me)
Hopefully this will help my periods
So I went to planned parenthood today! Had an awesome experience. Zero feelings of judgement. Everyone had nothing but kind and sincere words for me. 100% ready to help and answer my questions. I honestly felt safer there than my gyno I went to when I had insurance. I am so happy! I got my depo and I felt wonderfully informed! Thank you PP for supporting me!
Cramp
I wake up at like 4am every morning with the worst cramp. My breasts and nipples are super tender. And I have back ache constantly, which are all probably side effects of my depo injection. However, getting my LARC implant removed is literally the best thing to happen to me in the past year and a half. And the depo injection is like, my favourite thing to ever exist. But I've already recieved it before so the doctor is getting worried about my bone brittleness. And wants me to think about other alternatives. Idgaf the LARC implant can go fuck itself. And the nurse who supervises the minor surgery when I had it removes tried to convince me to keep it in??!! I was like nope get it out I've bled for 9 months now and have recurring thrush and am in constant pain :) so noh. I will not be continuing this. Mini morning rant cause I'm tired and can't post the work I want to because uni will flag it when I submit it for assessment x loving poetry and self analysing right now though xx
Had the depo injection like 7 weeks ago and they was like "in the beginning you'll have a 'bleed' and it's it all flushing out" I have fuck all for this entire time so I thought that I wasn't going to have anything untill the end of the 3 months when you get another injection but no, Came on yesterday and I'm dying a little, icba But my thoughts on the repo is tbh it's shutting your uterus down a person is going to have consequences to their body, with mood swings and spots but the issue is how it isn't as controllable as the pill but i feel that I can relax more, I'm not terrified of getting pregnant, and I'm a lot less anxious because of it. I think it's a give and take with the depo because I'm given the freedom of not worrying and being able to relax, my anxiety and mood swings have decreased (but there may be other Factors such as the end of exams and no school) and that has made a big difference in my life, It has given me a few more spots but I don't mind, because I don't get hella bad spots and they go quick enough and I think I have changed physically but I dint mind either I just hope this period is short and sweet and then leaves it at that but we'll have to see in the next month or so
Anyone else on the depo injection been told there's none left in the country and being completely ignored by their health care centre about it? I'm due for mine next weekend and I'm really not going to start it all over again.
