i love your writing so so much

just. ugh. every time i read one of your posts my heart does a little thing. i always leave with a flurry of emotions (in a good way!) either happy or sad, or bittersweet. and i love it.

the posts about depression really resonate and the way you captures it makes me feel that good kind of hurt. the hurt that's both pain and the wonder of being seen.

so thank you. thank you for sharing your writing with all of us! my day always brightens a little bit when i see your profile picture along with jegulus (1/1) on my dashboard <3

But seriously this is such an incredible compliment so thank you thank you thank you! Keep coming back I love that you find comfort here, that you feel seen here. You and all of you matter, and are worthy of compassion and softness. And you are right that even in the hurt there is wonder and knowing and connection.

Ever since losing my dogs I've been in a depression pit and I may look cute online but y'all ya gorl is struggling to shower more than once a week.

The only thing I miss about working is the structure it gave me 😮‍💨

my void still exists in me

I thought it doesn't anymore

it does and it's stronger now

I think it ages too like we do

it was where I once lived

and I left there a while ago

or so I thought I did

but I went there again today

my void is dark and hollow

so dark your eyes get used to it

so hollow that silence echoes

I've been there since hours now

I stopped living there a while ago

but I never stopped visiting

I don't think I ever will be able to

I feel like it's part of the deal

to all those of you with voids

it's an eerie place to be

and I can't tell you don't be there

because it is out of your hands

I simply hope you don't live there

just like I don't anymore

I hope your visits are less often

and become shorter with time

in the meanwhile, you can try

try to pull yourself out of it

because if anyone can, it's you

I've done this and you can too

Self care Sunday, I guess. I’m having a depressive episode which, to be fair, hasn’t happened in quite some time.

I’m moody and melancholy, so I made myself some Russian tea in my favorite mug and some apple slices. My mom and grandma would always make me Russian tea when I was sick as a child. Now I’ll make it for myself and my sick brain.

And I’m going to owe the Mr. a serious apology because I’ve been acting like a right cunt....

I’m on that kick of buying things and then regretting buying things because I’m wasting money I should be saving.  I think over the past month, I’ve spent...I don’t even want to guess.  Too much.  Money that should be in my savings account.  Put away for when we need it.  But hey, instead I’ve got a Causebox coming, some add ons, some stuff from Etsy, some stuff from ebay...Ipsy.  Birchbox.  Anything to fill that void, right???  *sighs*  What’s sad is that I know it won’t make things better and yet I do it anyway.  Because...maybe this time will be different.  I mean.  I haven’t run us into the ground.  I can still pay all the bills and stuff.  It’s just.  I’m blowing money that should be saved.

In light of the abysmal performance of my latest 'TMNT Shell Shot,' I have made the very difficult decision to discontinue writing anymore one-shots. There are no words to express my sorrow right now. I'm so sorry, but 'Missed Opportunities' will be my last 'TMNT Shell Shot.'
