2019 LIST V系とJロック

In the past years i sat in front of the laptop and watched these 'creepy' videos that no one from my town would understand. I listen to a lot of those bands nowadays too. I consider writing a list of my favorite bands at the moment.

・キズ/Kizu (his voice is dark, bitter-sweet)

・T.M.Revolution (entertainer, period)

・Luna Sea/Sugizo (too many talented people in a single band)

・OLDCODEX (vocalist and painter, simply genius)

・GRANDRODEO (Kiyan has a special place in my heart)

・Crosafaith (melody and fast tempo)

10 songs I can’t stop listening to which make me dream away. The songs are in no particular order. I tried to choose some older or lesser known songs. And a maximum of two songs from the same band. Had to make a hard decision for BUCK-TICK and L’Arc~en~Ciel. Might make a seperate list for them.

Yesterday was the D'erlanger sponsored event, 「Abstinence's Door #010」which featured Merry, Cali Gari, and of course D'erlanger! Thanks to @mareenique 's ticket luck our seats were AMAZING, so close!! Merry's set list was super amazing, and they played two new songs from the mini album! They also started with Kinema which is a personal favorite, only complaint, too short! 😢 Cali gari was a bit more low-key, but Ao was as amazing as always, and I love their new costumes I'm not as familiar with D'erlanger, but they were very fun, and Kyo still has an amazing amount of charisma (as expected of a very experienced vocalist/front man). Also Gara came out and performed "Zakuro" with D'erlanger and it was so cute, and also strangely sexy at times 😂 It was also really cool to see Tetsu drum because you can really see his influence both musically and in mannerisms on Nero And while they were getting ready for the encore I heard someone practicing and setting up the drums and knew it was Nero! And he did come out during the encore and first played "dummy blue" with D'erlanger (he looked very nervous but of course killed it) and then Tetsu came out and they had a very cute "drum battle" and then everyone came out and performed "La Vie en Rose" together #メリー #derlanger #caligari #カリガリ (at 豊洲PIT) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwgG94ZFC6Y/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1un75n7ugrbfs

Geki Rock - D'erlanger (Cipher) and Dir en grey (Kaoru and Die) Interview Excerpt

They are talking if Kaoru remembers the first time he met Cipher.

CIPHER: I really remember!

Kaoru: I don't remember much.

Die: hahahahaha

CIPHER: Is it okay if I say what happened?

Kaoru: Ya, it's okay.

CIPHER：DIR EN GREY was having a huge after party. Kaoru came up to me and said, "Can I talk to you?" And then he said, "I really like hide-san (X JAPAN)". Then he continued "I heard from Die that he drank and talked with you (Die really loves Cipher, his guitar hero. Kaoru respects him too) and I'm so jealous. If hide-san was still alive I wanted to do the same kinds of things with him." Well, there's nothing that can be done about that and so in place of hide, I said we could do so as much as he wanted. So then, this guy, prepared tequila shots, I was like, he's starting off strong huh.

Everyone: hahahahaha

CIPHER: Well why not, let's do it. And then he went to the toilet and didn't come back. The staff came and said "Kaoru-san passed out so we called a taxi……" Then there's the sequel where Kaoru woke up at his house and realized what happened, he called thinking to come back to the venue. I said was already going home so he was like oh you left.

Cipher was bandmates with Kyo and Tetsu who were in hide's band Yokosuka Saber Tiger.
