Only had time to swatch these but I’m excited. I’ve had a 24 set for years. These are smmoth and buttery with a bit if clay in the mix that gives a slick sheen when thick and heavily layered.

The added colors really make this a great portrait or skin tone set. It has great earth tones, look to their other lines for florals and brighter greens.

Hey Trek artists, just swatched the full set of Derwent Lightfast and the color range is full of earth tones for Klingons, Cardassians, and all things Gashir. Like an expanded Soft Drawing line if you’re familiar with them.

Just remember- Lightfast= oil based, somewhat transparent, lots of layering. Soft Drawing=wax and clay base, very opaque, a few light layers, thick texture when heavy.
