HOME

“Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.” This quote stated by someone is what home is for me. A home, in my opinion, is more than four walls and a roof over one's head. When I step my feet on our doorway, I am welcomed by the feeling of being at home. It is the people who are waiting for me to return home. My house is my solid foundation, and I intend to take it with me when I leave. I genuinely think that home is where people become themselves, not only physically but also mentally.

It is made up of life experiences that have helped to shape and teach me. As a result, my home is also comprised of individuals, and returning home takes on a human form at this place called family. I believe that family is a relative term that can be defined by relationships rather than by blood.

No matter where I go in the future, my backbone will always sit firmly in this environment and with these people who have shaped me as a person and taught me how to not just exist, but live.  I know that I can always come home. After all, home is where the heart is.

My happy place 💕🌹

             Who would’ve  imagine that the guy who appears to be snobbish in our first meeting will be the closest person to me at this very moment? The person who I never thought would be this important to me is now my happy place. From being complete strangers, we became seatmates that led us to being friends until we became special to one another. It’s ironic how two exact different personalities find comfort in each other.

                I was first attracted by his looks – sincere midnight eyes that speaks to me every time I stare at it, furious thick eyebrows, chubby cheeks that seems to be so pinchable, messy hair which is totally black and rare little smile that melts my heart. With his height of five feet and eight inches tall, I still slightly tiptoe when I talk to him and that’s how I got a clearer view of his face. Comes succeeding to  attraction is attachment which occurs after series of interaction like being with him every vacant hours, eating lunch with him, watching movies, playing tekken and having deep talks. That attachment helps me in knowing him more. Through the years, I have discovered a lot about him. He is one of the most generous person I know of, very willing to help others as much as he can. Also, he is a very patient person because he’s been waiting for my “yes” for almost four years now. His passionate affection not only to me but, also to his family and friends, made me fell to a God of love. And, my ever favorite trait of him is he can understand anyone so much that it’s making me speechless on giving further description about him, my happy place.

               He is my bliss. He sheltered my heart away from the coldness of my misery. Simply by having a person like him with all those astonishing characteristics already makes me happy and being with him makes me the happiest. I am indeed lucky to have a good-looking, God-fearing and kind-hearted happiness. Maybe soon, we’ll share our own abode of joy.

HAPPY PLACE

You may say that I’m an obsessed fan of Taylor Swift, but I’m really am. When I think of a happy place, I immediately think of family, friends, school etc. but to be more unique, my happy place is actually not a place, I chose Taylor Swift as a subject for my happy place. The American white girl from Reading, Pennsylvania served as one of my reason to be more happy, carefree and motivated in life. When I first listen to her song “Teardrops on my Guitar” she immediately caught my ears and heart. The soft voice, the blonde curly hair and her cute fake country accent made me love her.

         There are times that I’m feeling worn out in life, the feeling of hopelessness invading my soul, I don’t know what to do anymore. She is there for me, not physically but through her music, I feel comfort and warm hugs from her. Her content in music is very relatable, especially when it is about love life. The lyrics of her songs have the deepest meaning, you can feel every single words that she is saying. She is one of the huge blessing that happened in my life (even though this line is so cliché but it is true). I can’t imagine my life right now if there is no Taylor Swift that existed.

Character sketch

Dianne Clariz Alfonso, one of the funniest people that I knew. She has these hundreds of facial expressions that whenever you look at her, you couldn’t help but to smile and laugh. She’s not afraid to crinkle her nose and stick out her tongue in a very humorous way to make other people happy and lighten up their mood. She doesn’t mind if she looks ugly wearing that funny face. 

She also has this cute and high pitched voice that could make you raise your eyebrows and say “who’s that?” while you’re giggling. She’s wearing an eyeglasses that made her look like a Korean girl, but whenever she removes it, she looked exactly like her mom, Rizza. Her chubby cheeks emphasizes her fair and round face. 

I knew her as a very, very jolly person.She was known that way. But as they say, a person who has the biggest smile is the saddest one, and as I interview her, asked her about her family, although, the smile was there, the laugh, the jokes and her funny facial expressions was there, I can see her pain and sorrow deep into her eyes. As I listen to her voice, I know and I can feel her sad emotions behind those spoken words. It was truly heart-rending seeing her tears fall down and hearing her painful story, knowing that she had been hiding all these pain inside her heart by smiling, laughing so hard until her face turned red. 

It was really inspiring how strong and cheerful she is, despite of all these pain and struggles that she had been and going through. I was inspired by her story and the way she handled these kind of sorrowful situations. Despite all of these things, she can still smile and make other people happy in her own way, even though she’s a downcast, herself. 

Now, I do not know her just as a girl who has a very loud laugh and has a funny facial expressions, i now know her as a strong-minded, kind, jolly and a brave person to go on in life and be happy. It was really inspiring and overwhelming to know her.

Chocolates 🍫

Chocolate is a confection made from cacao beans specifically Theobroma cacao beans. What I like chocolates is that every time I eat it, it makes me feel good because based from several studies chocolates release a hormone called endorphins which gives us pleasure. Chocolate is a typically sweet, usually brown cacao seed, roasted and ground, often flavored, as with vanilla. It is made in the form of liquid, paste, or in a block or used as a flavoring ingredient in other sweet foods. There are large number of products made from it on the market, from powdered cocoa for making drinks to white chocolate, and most markets carry a cross-section of confections for their customers. In addition to being available at general markets and grocery stores, chocolate can be also purchased from specialty companies which makes luxury and distinctive confections. Also several types of chocolates can be distinguished. Pure, unsweetened chocolate contains primarily cocoa solids and cocoa butter in varying proportions. Much of the chocolate consumed today is in the form of sweet chocolate, combining chocolate with sugar. Milk chocolate is sweet chocolate that additionally contains milk powder or condensed milk. And also chocolate is generally stored away from other food, as it can absorb different aromas. Ideally, chocolates are packed or wrapped, and placed in proper storage with the correct humidity and temperature. Additionally, chocolate is frequently stored in a dark place or protected from the light by wrapping paper.
