Studyblr checkup time!

The first week of the new year is over and while there was so much going on, we also need to do the stuff that needs to be done. Check with this list if you have done everyting necessary and if not, do it. Believe me, you will thank yourself later for it for not waiting with it longer.

Planners and Calendars

Already hung up the new calendars, set up the new planner or bujo? If not, then do so, now. Mark all the important dates, write down every appointment you have this month.

Goals

Make sure you have set yourself achieveable goals for this month. If you can, plan some months ahead but if you can´t, then at least make goals for this months. Write them down. Pin them somewhere where you will regularly be reminded of them.

Homework and assignments

If you had winter holidays/Christmas holidays/whatever holidays, then make sure you hand in your assignments in time! Get a sheet of paper, look through your emails, your notes and your online courses and jot everything down that needs to be handed it. Write the dates beside it. Double-check what you have handed in already and cross these out. Make yourself a plan how to finish the other ones in time.

Your studying space

Declutter your desk, reorganize your pencils and notebooks, make sure you find everything important. Water your plants, have a look if they need bigger pots, if you need to remove old leaves or if you have to find a sunnier/shadier spot for them. Remove everything that is distracting you from your studying space. Remove everything from your studyiing space that is not massively motivating to you or needed for your productivity. Make some space.

Accomplishments and motivation

Look at everything you already got done this semester. Everything you already have accomplished. After all that, you can do the last month as well, right? Right! Remind yourself of everything that went great this semester to keep your motivation up for the last three weeks!

Administration

Still haven´t answered all these emails, paid that bill, downloaded that document, made that important appointment? Then do it! Now! Make a list of all the admin tasks that need to be done and get them done.

And that´s it! I´m proud you made it until here, keep going, you will get it!

Hello! It’s good to see you! Hope you’ve been doing well. So, this is what I was working with before the desk makeover.

It worked for what I do, but since I spend a lot of time here and I thought it’d be nice to set it up a little prettier.

I bought everything from SHEIN because I couldn’t afford it otherwise.

If you’re interested in any of these items, just ask. I don’t have the energy to hunt for links right now, but I might later. Who knows.

The theme here is cottage core, I guess? Honestly, it all started because of this wall paper right here. I loved it so much I just went with things that would make it pop.

You can kind of see the seams… Right here, when you look at it hard enough, but I’m okay with it. I think it looks nice.

And I do eat at my desk, so I bought a clear vinyl covering for that.

I put a warm wood wall paper on the desk riser because I didn’t want it to be this standard white that it comes in.

I think it looks nice. I have some little details that I could probably touch up later. But, that’s for later.

Oki doki! And it’s done! As an aside, I did not get my [art] pieces from SHEIN. I do hope to add on more in the future, but yeah! This is it for now. It’s been fun! I’ll see you later~

Need to deep clean and do a desk makeover... Going to throw all the barbie dolls away that I still have in some storage area in my room and use it as notebook storage.

While using my advent calendar storage thingy for notebooks I need but can put away.

I'll need to wait until dad's awake and I have eaten lunch, plus I still need to vote today as well... busy Sunday but worth it!
