finished work for the summer at 2pm this afternoon and let me tell you since then i have written like 3000 words in 2 separate fics, created graphics & edited a carrd for a fest I'm co-hosting, started wrangling pieces from the vaults for chapter 2 of an evil author fic.

This morning, in an email between me, my editor, and my agent, my editor recommended a Hollanov fic which I am now reading instead of writing the book the email was about.

Sometimes, I hate recognizing the patterns in my writing. Like c’mon girl! Change it up!

But also, maybe people like my patterns? 🤷‍♀️

Idk. But I’m writing, so that’s good enough.

Since it is once again pride month I thought I’d share a fun/friendly little reminder for anyone looking at my blog!

Most of my OCs (including fan OCs) are queer in some way. Like I have next to no cishet OCs.

One of the few that I do uses a very loose definition of straight, he isn’t attracted to men. Pronouns and genitals don’t mater to him, he just doesn’t like guys. (In all fairness he and his story are still in early early development.) Yes this sort of started as a joke when I first had the idea for his story, but it has kinda just stuck.

So yeah, always assume any of my characters are queer in some way unless directly stated otherwise.
