Any Deskai (Desmond x Kai) headcanons?
◊ Kai Monteago we know what you are
◊ almost 100% sure it's him that falls first, and who can blame him with how charming & nice Desmond is? (honestly I think everyone in the class has had a crush on Desmond at some point, though most have evolved into friendship)
◊ but it's Desmond that actually confesses first, or at least he's the one that says it most coherently (meanwhile Kai's just a jumbled mess of word vomit & nervous laughter)
◊ casually dating for 2-ish months before feelings develop past the "i like you & wanna see if things will work out between us" stage
◊ Desmond's contact name is Kai's pet name for him plus at least 3 hearts, while Kai's is just his name with either a pink heart or butterfly next to it (notably everyone that's just a friend to Desmond has no emojis)
◊ they have fun flirting with each other, though Kai has yet to fluster Desmond even half as badly as he usually ends up getting (he won't give up though! One day he'll get Desmond so flustered he can't speak!)
◊ very rarely actually have serious arguments, but Desmond's usually the first to apologize when they do
◊ Kai is very cuddly/clingy. Fine when they're relaxing/sleeping, less fine when Desmond is trying to get up for his morning run. Free him

Kai logically understands why those pictures are so much more popular, but he still gets a bit miffed about it because that's his boyfriend, thank you very much! Bounces between pouting & being amused as he reads the thirst-fueled comments
◊ gets similarly jealous if someone tries flirting with Desmond in front of him. Meanwhile a jealous Desmond is almost imperceptible from his normal self, but is ever-so-slightly tense and irritated around whoever's trying with Kai (he hopes Kai never realizes because he'll playfully tease Desmond for it if he does)
