Track of the Day: ‘Falling’
Sehr früh geschrieben (bereits vor ca. 4 1/2 Jahren), war ich lange Zeit sehr unzufrieden mit dem Arrangement, welches sehr komplex war. Mit der Zeit wurde mir klar, dass die Aussage des Liedes - Wenn dich was kaputt macht, dann lass es hinter dir - im Gegensatz zum komplexen und vielschichtigen musikalischen Kleid steht.
Nachdem mir das klar wurde, war die Umsetzung / Lösung ganz einfach: Alles was stört oder nicht ganz passt oder zu viel wirkt (Schlagzeug zum Beispiel!) kommt RAUS. Punkt. Das Resultat ist ein instrumental sehr reduzierter Song, der viel Platz für die Aussauge und die Emotionen lässt - die Bikini-Version des Songs ist eben die Beste ;-)
