do you truly love him if you don't replace your own arm with his?
Despicable Deadpool #294

Despicable Deadpool (2017) #293
WADE WINSTON WILSON—
earlier....
so when was that arm ORIGINALLY inside him, to become part of him?
was it all the way through his heart?
i guess when cable pulled out, he didn't give his hand back in marriage and that's why deadpool needs to "cut out his heart"--he's only taking what's his, what he's owed.
cable gives wade his heart, to hold in his hands.
on their way to his heart, cable says he doesn't like or trust wade and that's why he doesn't TELL him anything.....as he's SHOWING him his secret multiversal hideout and the keys to his kingdom.
what cable says and what he does are....opposites.
every time wade is shown honest care, he doesn't trust it, denies it, avoids it, rejects it. cable knows wade rejects affection. to him, affection is an inevitable betrayal that can't be trusted. but ugliness is a promise to do exactly what wade expects everyone to do. it can't betray him, it's not a lie. he trusts that.
so when cable says one thing and does another, he's showing wade what he can't say outright. wade LOVES this. it's exactly what he wants: show, don't tell. actions can be trusted, words can't. literal don't ask, don't tell. "i hate that it's you, i deserve better" is actually "i love you, i couldn't imagine better".
this is the same insulting dance that logan and wade have going on in the DPW movie.
