The Despicable Me RP world has been dealt another blow with the announcement of despicable-moon-thief leaving/closing her Gru blog. Those of us that are left MUST rally around each other and be supportive of each other. I love you my minions. I may not show it every day or often, but I'm appreciative of you all. I don't pretend to be a good Gru blog. I know I could be more active. I know I could be better at this. Both Rex and Pocket/Kiwii left really big shoes to fill and I know I'm not good enough to fill them. But I'll try my best to be the best Gru I can be. I promise you all.

Happiness is a foreign concept to Jessica.

She doesn’t…she doesn’t quite understand what happiness is. The closest she can come is realizing that it’s a positive emotion instead of a negative one - or a lack of one. Her mind conceives of it as a more pure emotion - probably more akin to what we would call joy - than what we would see as happiness. (She also connects it with innocence and naivete, which is neither here nor there.)

Jessica knows that she’s happy around Roger and when she’s cooking as both of those bring a purely positive emotion, albeit in much different ways. But sometimes - most of the time - the emotions she gets are so varied that she can’t really call herself happy. (Even with cooking and Roger - although she knows both cause her happiness - sometimes there are feelings that she can’t quite call positive, and in those instances she can’t call herself happy.)

In short, her thoughts on happiness are…complicated.

Liz looked back at the man who was holding her back. A small demon was terrorizing the neighborhood. Something she couldn't handle, she can just squish it with her foot, but the little thing had tricks up his sleeves. A tiny bomb exploded in front of her. Wasnt enough to hurt them, just to spook them. "I gotta, sir. It's, unfortunately, my job." Her tone had a tint of annoyance as she cleared some of the smoke away.
