Easy Smores Pizza Recipe - Ooey Gooey Dessert Fun
Add these adorable and delectable cake pops to your dessert table to spread some Sesame Street cheer. These Sesame Street Cake Pops are ideal for events and get-togethers, and both kids and adults will love them.
Ingredients: 1 box of your favorite cake mix. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3 large eggs. 1 cup milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 cups white candy melts. Assorted colored candy melts red, blue, yellow, green. Black decorating gel. Miniature chocolate chips. Lollipop sticks.
Instructions: Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions. Bake the cake and let it cool completely. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the cake crumbs. Mix until well combined. Roll the mixture into small cake balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions. Dip the lollipop sticks into the melted candy melts and insert them into the cake balls. Dip each cake pop into the melted white candy melts, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow excess to drip off. Place the cake pops back on the baking sheet and let them set. Melt the colored candy melts in separate bowls. Use the colored candy melts to create Sesame Street character features on each cake pop Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, etc.. Use black decorating gel to add details like eyes and mouths. Place a few miniature chocolate chips on top for added decoration. Allow the candy melts to fully set before serving.
