As a way to cope with SMG4 ending, I'm in the works of a Swap!AU. I don't really have much planned yet, but I at least have a few characters in mind. Here's the following.

Peach

Princess Peach takes the place of Mario in this AU, becoming the avatar changing her from the sweet and fair ruler to a hyper and bimbo Princess who loves to bake and eat cakes. She often hangs out with Mr. Puzzles and goes on all kinds of wacky adventures.

Mr. Puzzles

Mr. Puzzles swapped with SMG4, having come to life by a mysterious lightning bolt hitting a television with a purpose of creating media for people to enjoy. He makes movies and advertises them on his youtube channel alongside a few shorts (The episodes) to keep his audience while creating bigger projects. At first was kind of annoyed at Peach but eventually grows to see her as a friend.

Mr. Wpnz

Mr. Wpnz replaces SMG3, coming to life the same way as Puzzles except he was previously a fish surrounded by various weapons. Starts out as an antagonist by being hired as a hitman to eliminate Peach, then escalating into stealing Puzzle's life. But later on gets a redemption arc and becomes part of the crew... and becoming close with Puzzles. 😉

Desti

Desti takes Meggy's place as an Inking turned Human. When peach meets her for the first time Desti thought she was a nuisance, but when she sees the princess has a talent for Splatoon, she recruits her to join her team for Splatfest. Finds the crew corny at first, but learns to grow a soft spot through them.

And that's... pretty much it. I'll post more when I think of more
