Ok so I’ve done some patrols and I’m getting the vibe that those weird shadow people are like the souls of fallen guardians? The ones around the patrols were saying these really panicked lines which makes me think those were their last moments or something. There’s always at least 1 around eris so maybe it’s her fire team or something? Idk I’m still learning my destiny lore. Still creepy how their every where though

After the ending of shadowkeep and finally seeing the witness face to face, saying that it was his salvation he realized the hold the witness had over his mind ever since he first got his markings. Taking this information to Eris, Ikora, and Zavala he decides it will be best if he stands down as the young wolf guardian they knew for so long and took up the responsibility of a crumbling hunter vanguard member.

Saw a discussion about toland on a discord server and had a thought

ughhhh excuse me while i freak out once again over how BRILLIANTLY the inside of the Pyramid (Shadowkeep, Beyond mission) is designed like oh my god just. the way everything is muffled is so haunting. everything SOUNDS like you're underwater, and contrast that with the sharp whispering noise and the literal heartbeat you can hear as you move through the ship. but the most haunting part is the lights. i didn't even see them on my first playthrough, but the. god the twin pairs of red lights everywhere that can only be eyes. the design is so horrifying in so many ways and i adore it

Since I am on my ever-present quest to spite god, I have decided to run both the Forsaken and Shadowkeep campaigns simultaneously.

In other words:

I am currently hunting Uldren Sov to avenge Cayde-6 with Spider’s assistance at the same time that I am hunting the high celebrant to avenge Sagira and Osiris, also with Spider’s assistance, as well as the reincarnation of Uldren that I haven’t technically killed yet, but also kind of have.

Thusly, the same man that I am trying to kill is also helping me kill someone else at the same time that I am trying to kill him.
