Crow did something rash and stupid, and we are allowed to be mad at him. Our guardian is allowed to be mad at him. It doesn’t mean we hate him
The infantilizing of Crow is something that’s been concerning me for a while in the Destiny fandom. He’s a deeply traumatized man, and he’s emotional too, but he’s still strong and capable and powerful. The fact that some people see an emotional male character and immediately go “UwU soft babey need protecting! *hisses at anyone who gets mad at him*” Has always kind of pissed me off.
I’m an emotional guy with diagnosed ptsd. That doesn’t make me a child. I still make mistakes. I’ve had days where I’ve regretfully done things without thinking of the consequences, and on those days I expect people to get mad at me. Similarly, Crow isn’t a child. He made a conscious decision, and it was a bad one. Everyone should be mad at him, or irritated at the very least. Yes, he did it in good faith. That doesn’t excuse the fact that he’s caused us a world of hurt.
Also, even if someone does hate Crow for no reason, who gives a shit. It’s a video game. It doesn’t “say a lot about them, yikes 😬” it means they don’t like a fictional character. Let them live. And if you hate Crow and try to convince people who like him not to, don’t do that, you’re an asshole. I like Crow. Someone in my Raid team hates him and thinks he’s annoying. You know what we do? Kick Riven’s ass together, because we can agree to disagree.
TLDR; Stop infantilizing emotional men and accept the fact that some people will hate characters you like.
