hey, you! yes, you! do you have dysphoria regarding your character kintype? look no further! here's a list of things you can do to affirm yourself

this is obvious, but using the same names or titles as your source

if your source is visual or has visual content, use gifs/pictures from your media (as reaction images, icons, banners, etc)

get a wig or dye your hair the same color as your hair/fur/etc used to be

start dressing how you used to

pick up sayings from your source / quote things youve said or used to say in source

use makeup or facepaint to make your features or body look more like your source (within reason).

if you had any hobbies in source, try learning them; or if you had any quirks about you, try learning hobbies in order to replicate them (e.g. i had keys to everyone's rooms in the circus, so i want to learn lockpicking)

if you spoke a different language in source, then learn that language

if the creators of your source sell any, buying merch can be affirming

if you decorated your room a certain way in source, try decorating your room like that

if you have memories, try writing about them in a journal or a notes app
