Steel: No, not your job, child. Not your job ... Your mother and father were the best and bravest people I ever knew, and they're not with us anymore.

The Wizard, the Witch, and the Wild One ep. 49:

Brennan: She puts a hand on your shoulder, brings you in, embraces you, and gets her face in the crook of your neck and just starts crying, shaking and crying.

Aabria: I think Suvi immediately ... she was so ready to fall into Steel's arms, she's so used to it, but in that moment feels herself take on the contraposition of, "I'm going to hold her up." And does. And just is trying not to cry and is feeling herself at the edge of breaking down, or being exhausted, or letting something go, or something drop, but is honestly really grateful for whatever this is. A couple more seconds before the conversation that needs to happen, and I get to just comfort my mom. And that's really nice.

Steel: I thought you were dead.

This parallel destroyed me, of Steel telling Suvi that her parents are dead vs. Steel telling Suvi that she thought she was dead. Their relationship is so heart-wrenching and intricate, and I will be suing Aabria and Brennan for emotional damage.
