You know what? I’m probably just going to print out and put all the fan art of my books and the several essays I wrote back in the day into a binder at this point.

I just read the entirety of Destroyer of Light (I'm trying to read all your comics in order). Aside from just being really good both in its writing and its art (that panel switch of her crying and smiling to her looking up at the night sky really got me emotional), it meant a lot to me that abortion and the desire to be free of motherhood / pregnancy was portrayed this way. When she said she was getting rid of a parasite I teared up because it felt very validating. It's difficult for me to read about these things but this story brought me a lot of comfort and it's rare to find stories like these. Thank you.

I'm so happy you liked Destroyer of Light and that it could give you comfort. <3 That comic is still one of my Greek myth comics that I'm most pleased with. I've once had an abortion myself and Persephone's attitude towards motherhood and pregnancy is pretty much taken from me. Of course there's nothing wrong with wanting children (I better say that or someone will misunderstand me), but I have seen the opinion that only selfish people chooses a life without children, and I wanted to show that it could actually be a very responsible thing.

In honor of it being the Autumnal Equinox in the Nothern Hemisphere and the Vernal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere, here is one of the scenes that made me cry the hardest the first time I read it. It is Hades’ goodbye to Persephone before she has to return to her mother.
