I can only imagine how Garmadon felt showing his scars to his wife.

He’s got sliced, shot one time and let’s not forget his litchenberg, aka lightning scars on his arm. I did have it on his back before realizing it would’ve started on his arm since he was holding the sword up during a storm.

All in all, he probably would think she’d reject him after everything he’s caused/been through, but she’d ease him out of his doubts. (If not she would be a little offended he’d ever question her feelings for him at all).

And yes, Kim has a scar too. She wore her armor most of the time but got caught off guard and then there was a bandit with a dagger to her stomach. You can guess what happened there. (I’ll dive a little more into it later on).

Day 9 of NinjagoVDay2025

Hey look it’s OdyPe- I mean GarmaKoko. You know the crossover kind except this Koko is just slowly detaching herself from the source material she’s based off of. Hehe.

Anyways, this is actually a scene I kinda-sorta want to write in my fic except that fanfic won’t appear for a long time but I still love it. So basically, I’m feeling like this is sometime after Lloyd disappeared into another dimension (aka look back to find lil Oni Lloyd) and Garmadon is feeling guilty about the fact that he argued about the prophecy with Wu in front of Lloyd and that’s what caused him to run. Essentially Garm feels like he shoved his boy away into FSM knows where and he can’t sleep.

Meanwhile Kimiko can’t sleep either. She was actually training herself hard (hence the undershirt) before she took a break and found Garmadon. And despite the fact that they’ve barely been in contact for a few years, it comes so naturally when Kim comforts him and the two make amends for the sake of finding Lloyd.

Of course the amends is temporary cause the venom in him screws it up, but that’s something for later.

Day 25 of NinjagoVDay2025

In the original sketch, I did have Garmadon looking so smug but then I thought about how he didn’t even WANT to fight his son so imagine how he would feel if Koko took her duty as Dragon Samurai seriously. (Dragon Samurai were known to kill Oni back during my version of the war).
