Re-Draw Yourself Ninjago Day 15

You have no idea how long it actually took to sketch the pole-arm and render the pose. Anyways I am happy at how it turned out. (I feel like it makes more sense since it’s easy on the eyes unlike the original version.) What I’m not happy about is the fact IG cut off its greatness.

The full version will be on my story, DeviantArt and Tumblr of course but damn why?! I worked so hard on it and I can’t hold the Megaweapon forever!

Idea: That thing on the twins' eyes isn't a tattoo or makeup, but pigmentation. There are many different species in Ninjago, so they're like nymphs. Or something like that, I couldn't figure it out myself...

During the Serpentine Wars, I think xenophobia developed in Ninjago, so they had a hard time. I also think they're half-breeds, and their father in this AU wasn't even sure they existed, so he was very surprised when the time powers transferred to them.

Re-Draw Yourself Ninjago Day 14

Funny how the first time I drew this prompt I went with the Shurikens of Ice but this time I went with the Sword of Fire. To be fair though, I still need to figure out how the Shurikens and Nunchucks are gonna look in my design. Plus the sword was fun.

Can’t wait to show the next prompt with the MegaWeapon. It’s got a massive redesign for my AU. Ooh the explanation for the redesign will be fun too!

Re-Draw Yourself Ninjago Day 13

I am out of practice when it comes to drawing Oni but it had worked out. I was kinda hoping to pull off this version of me being a Blue Oni/human hybrid. You know to keep some human traits like the plantigrade feet, head shape, and hair color.

I would love to go into detail about Blue Oni but I still haven’t made an actual lore post of them anywhere. Not with art at least. Mostly text on my Tumblr. Hopefully I’ll eventually get to it. Maybe I will get there when I write that Lloyd focused fic in my series.

The dang armor arrangement took so long for this one, but it’s finally finished.

Originally it was meant to be more monstrous looking in the face but it would’ve just looked like Overlord with curves. (Sounds like someone’s dream ngl.)

To be fair, if I ever had a chance to redo this, it’ll probably still keep the human face acting as a mask with the Overlord teeth and all hiding underneath.
