The tenrec entered her room with a groan. All day, all. Fucking. Day, she was forced to go through test after test after goddamn test! All because Starline wanted more results for some bullshit endurance test. She can endure just fine! It's Kit who needs better endurance! But somehow he did the best on these tests?! Something about it actually being a "cooperation endurance test", whatever the hell that means.
All she knows is that he's not gonna get fucked by Eggman doing lame shit like this.
Regardless, she didn't even notice the wrapped gift on her bed at first. She was just busy kicking off her shoes and getting ready to do nothing but lounge in her private space for the rest of the day. That is, until, while letting her quills down, she noticed the gift.
Brows furrowed in confusion, she tossed her hairband off to the side as she approached the edge of her bed. Picking it up, she read over the tag and recognized it as Vex's handwriting. Somewhat amused by the fact she even bothered to get her a gift, let alone sneak it into her room, Surge tore into the present.
Only to be met by a photo, inside a hand-carved wooden frame, of them both smiling. Laughing. Enjoying being with each other. She was completely surprised. She just plopped back onto her bed, still looking at the photo. A smile cracked onto her lips, a small chuckle slipping past them after.
" Goddamn... Love you too, dumbass. "
