I like Ursa Minor, it's one of the few I can identify but not so obvious I can see it near the city- so I associate it with those times when I've been able to get out and actually have a nice look at the stars.
because it's too funny not to post! One of the recent productions of Andrea Chenier was notable mostly because it was performed on top of a GIANT DYING MARAT in the middle of Lake Constanz. His giant dead eyes opened, glowing yellow, during one of the soprano's arias. I have a cordial disinterest in Andrea Chenier musically, but I would watch the entire recording of this if I could get my hands on it just to boggle at the staging.
