“So what’s up?” you break the silence at you look up at your significant other. He tenses up a bit but he hopes it doesn’t catch your eyes. “Look I really don’t know how to just...out and say it.”

Now it’s your turn to get nervous. You hope he isn’t breaking up with you. You love this boy. Every little thing about him. Even the simple thought of him ending it with you broke your heart into millions of pieces.

Jin notices your sudden moves of you nervously tapping your fingers. “Babe, it’s not about us. I love you and you know that.” Jin says as he give you a smile warm enough to melt you worries.

“Then what is it?” you ask, feeling more ready for whatever he has to say. He sighs and takes a hold of you hand while drawing small circles around your knuckle. “I hope this doesn’t affect us in any way but,” he looks you straight in your eyes. “I want to be a devil hunter.”

You eyes grow wide and you feel your heart starting to race in your chest. This is a joke right? This couldn’t be happening. You abruptly move your hand from his grip and you feel your eyes watering. it was getting hard to breathe and you felt slightly dizzy.

Jin rushes over to your side. “What’s wrong?” All you can do is shake your head slowly as you try to keep yourself from sobbing. He cuffs your cheek and uses the pad of his thumb to gently rub your cheek. “Please speak to me.” Jin mumbles out.

He’s extremely worried at this point. He expected a negative reaction from this but never this bad. He was was confused. “No.” you say back. “You can’t.” He looks slightly disappointed. “Why? Do you know how much of a big deal this is for me? I always let you go after what you want but now this?” He says with irritation lining each word. “Do something else then.” You shot back.

This infuriates Jin even more. He drops you hand and stands up as he combs his hand through his hair with annoyance.

“Your supposed to support me like how I support you! Why are you being like this? I-” “I’m not gonna argue about this with you! You’re sleeping on the couch tonight and don’t talk to me.” You interrupt before you storm to your shared bed room.

You slam the door and cry into your pillow. “Fuck you.” You mumble through tears into the pillow. You’re upset to say the least.
