New Album: Devilfire - Black Soul Vendetta

Release Date: 4 Sep 2020

Devilfire are probably best described as a dark melodic hard rock quintet. Their brand-new album, Black Soul Vendetta comes out on Friday, September 4th. The album features thirteen new songs, including the hit-singles, "Dream Evil" and "Chasing The Pain".

Devilfire come from Birmingham, and were formed off the back of an early studio session between long term friends, producer Alex Cooper and drummer Lars Wickett.

Starting out as Devilstar, it took three years before things fell into place on a lengthy tour of Eastern Europe as guests to Tarja Turunen. That tour cemented a growing reputation as a live force. They then release their debut album, "Dark Manoeuvres" in 2017 to great critical acclaim.

"Dark Manoeuvres" was followed by sold-out live dates before the release of a short-run EP "Out Of The Dark" to placate fans’ demands for further material.

Producer and Devilfire mainman, Alex Cooper says, “We do everything in-house, recording, production, mastering, the lot. We had the album all ready to go and had even soft-launched it to our own fan base when the pandemic kicked in."
