I think the reason I love period fashions is because they were so fucking buck wild.

Every culture had a time where they were just like "fuck yea gonna put everything on my fucking head"

Edwardian women had an entire fruit basket glued to their hats and the men did not show any restraint either can you say SEQUINS OVER HALF MY BODY

Period fashions were not complete until you could shove your entire life story into the woven texture of your pants or skirts or whatever

They didn't have machines back then brocade was fucking EXPENSIVE

I want to make the things in my imagination come to reality but that requires so many different areas of craft and technique? I can't keep up

Sewing and prop making and little ambient trinkets that just Fit in this world I've made

Little maps that detail natural wonders, portraits of elven high magisters, dwarf lords and human queens.

I just want to make.
