Unpopular opinion but if you’re someone who constantly goes on and on about how lonely you are and that people always abandon and leave you… and that’s your main personality trait… you’re probably the problem.

(Un) popular opinion?
Something I’ve noticed lately on other social platforms, but mainly here and tiktok. *The “insults” are just gonna be examples, they are not bad characteristics inherently and nothing to be ashamed of, so no one jump down my throat ok*
Why is it when a girl is called fat, the reaction goes like “who cares babe, you do you! 🥰🥰🥰 body positivity! Girl power!!!”
But when a dudes made fun of for a small dick it goes like “umm rude we don’t make fun of peoples bodies like that 😡😡😡 It’s not small it’s perfect as is”
See the difference?
The messages are similar but the tone is so different.
Why is it that for girls who are insulted, her emotions are deterred and brushed off, and the comment just supposed to be accepted, but for dudes its automatically them being shielded, and the comment is deflected? Why are we still infantilizing men? Why do we basically make women accept the insult but twist it into something else?
It’s exhausting and annoying.
tbh i've never understood why men degrade women. like dude, it was a woman that brought you into this world and she can take you out.
