Unpopular opinion but if you’re someone who constantly goes on and on about how lonely you are and that people always abandon and leave you… and that’s your main personality trait… you’re probably the problem.

So I see this argument all over tiktok and I just gotta say something.
There’s multiple trends going around talking about other cultures and their food or customs etc, some criticisms are in good fun and some are straight rude and everything inbetween.
Tiktok always says “don’t yuck someone else’s yum” and “it’s their culture, why is xyz bad when you guys do abc? Hush and educate yourself” etc.
What I’m not getting is why are we quick to immediately defend whatever culture is the main subject and not allow any type of criticism or differentiating ideas especially if it could be helpful or necessary?
I understand I could be talking out of my ass here, I’m white. I’m American. I get that. But why cant people just not like certain food? Or societal rules? Gender roles? Religious customs? Why can’t people point out issues or anything without being deemed self-centered or racist or any other negative descriptor?
Now I’m not saying everyone should go around shitting on entire cultures and demographics, that’s horrible and idiotic. But why can’t parallel concerns or issues be brought up that are shown as looked down upon in one culture for good reason but not in another all in the name of tradition?
Idk it doesn’t make sense.
Is it weird/stupid that my “dream” of a successful life isn’t a super successful career or a big house or a fancy car… I just want to be in love and have someone by my side.
Idk that’s all I want 🥺 I don’t care if I have the shittiest job with a broken down car and living in a shack… if it means I’m with the one I love.. then I couldn’t ask for a better life.
Devs horny thoughts of the day:
Doflamingo using his devil fruit to control my body and make me helpless to his will and strength. Or him using his strings to tie me to his bed while he invites his family or workers to watch him fuck me stupid. Doflamingo has servants, butlers, maids, and fuck toys and I’d happily be hired as a toy for him. Must always be ready to entertain the king of dressrosa. Always eager to please the young master.
This is so fucking stupid but I just thought of like a kid or I guess a teenager being asked how old they are and answering
“ I’m in my tens”
Like how people say that their in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s.
You know like 10-13 can be the early 10’s
14-16 is the mid tens
And 17-19 is the late tens
the villa - rachel hawkins
3.5/5
i have a lot of thoughts
Overall, I really enjoyed The Villa. I found it very captivating and listened to the audiobook in one day because I simply couldn’t get enough of all the characters. I loved how the book switched from Mari’s POV in the past, to present day with Emily.

Ok guys real question
Is it better to get a more expensive degree from a more well known and more highly regarded university or get a less expensive degree from a place that’s average. Help😭
Dear me,
I hope we are okay in the end.
Will you show me a sign? Show me that it’s all worth it? Please.
Until then, I’ll be waiting.
