I am sooo happy seeing someone invested in Garland and Chaos too, dnd wants him in opera omnia. I so want to see him allowed a little relief. Thank you for making me think about them.

Garland is somewhat of an obsession to me atm lmao, I'm happy someone is interested in my rambling in various tags :D
But seriously, he's such a good character. And Dissidia and Opera Omnia did/do such a good job in fleshing him out, it's just such a delight to see! And his relation to dissidia chaos is just so heartbreakingly beautiful to me - to think that it is CANON that he stayed with him out of sympathy is just-- I COULD SCREAM ABOUT THIS FOR HOURS OKAY

Compared to how excited I was for Squall’s event in DFOO, Vanille is just... well, there she is, I guess?
I barely know her, she’s okay but not amazing for me. Her design is cute but not outstanding or interesting enough for me to just poke at just because of that, the way that I have others (and not bad either, just... she’s there).
So, I’ve got her, I’m gonna be levelling her a bit, I’ve got her silver weapon (and armour) in a draw, and I’m gonna get her gold weapon just because I can. But I dunno how much I’ll use her.
*shrugs* it’s okay. I mean, I think we get Setzer next, and he’s cool. And after that, I think it’s Balthier? Which, yeah, also cool, I like FFXII.
Currently in DFFOO I’ve been levelling up Cloud, Tifa, Squall, Zidane, and Vivi.
Cloud and Vivi are taking point since Cloud takes longer as he isn't currently an EXPx2 and he’s my shared hero, and Vivi because Vivi and also he is EXPx2, and was around lv. 30 for a while and is now around lv. 38.
Cloud, Squall, and Zidane are around lv. 40.
The one with the highest crystal strength, however? TERRA. Who has lv. 32 str. but is only lv. 30 still.
The others mostly have lv. 29 crystal str. (Cloud, Tifa, Hope, Firion.)
Squall’s at crystal 20, Bartz is at 14 and so is Zidane, Vivi is 16 and Sazh is 13.
Out of the event characters I’m waiting for, I’m probably going to focus more on Setzer, Balthier, Tidus, Faris, Snow, Thancred, Garnet, Kain, and Rydia - as well as all the VII ones. Though that’s just a rough prediction. Subject to changes.
On the one hand for the DOO event list: Such a flow of events! There’ll never not be someone new to get!
On the other hand, though: I have gone through so very few of these games so far and have a deep intense connection with only certain characters. If the events are more or less the same for Global as they were for Japan, then we’ll have to wait months for any of the ones I’m waiting for. I like Setzer and Blather and I like Tidus too but July for Aerith and August for Garnet and September for Kain and freaking October and December for Kuja and Sephiroth, January for Zack-
