This is hard! The characters is DGM are all so full of depth, though Alma (surprise, surprise) is my number one favorite.  I just adore him to bits. ;__; (Kanda and Tyki are close seconds!)

Favorite Female Character

I had to think a bit more about this one - but I always loved Anita? She was so regal and badass, and I really am so sad she wasn’t around for too long in the series. I would have loved to see more of her and her relationship with Lenalee develop.  Following Anita, I really love Miranda. She’s just adorable and relatable - and also so steadfast? Despite her fears and worries, she always endures so much and aaaa I love her deeply.

Least Favorite Character

This is hard - I tend to like all the characters, since I find them all so fascinating (even unlikable characters like Chaoji and Lvellie - Hoshino does such a good job at capturing their motives and behaviors that while they’re characters I don’t love they’re still so interesting to me?). I’d probably say Chaoji or Legory Peck? One of those two.

Favorite Ship

Yulma is my number one OTP, but my rare pair OTP is Tyki x Alma! ;3 Some other special mentions are: Lavi x Link, Tyki x Miranda (Thanks, @kitty-bandit, for getting my obsessed with those first two XD), Lavi x Lenalee, Tyki x Lavi.

Favorite Friendship

Aaaaa, I have several! All for various reasons, but these are some of my favorite friendships: - Allen & Alma (They don’t interact in canon for long, but hear me out - had Alma survived, t here two would be close. Allen was the OG Yulma shipper and on Alma’s side from the get-go. XD) - Kanda & Lenalee  - Kanda & Noise Marie & Daisya & Tiedoll (that whole unit!) - Lavi & Allen - Allen & Kanda (Begrudging comrades, but they get to respecting each other X3) - Allen & Tyki (They’re sort of frenemies, but...not? I’m throwing them in here)

Worst Character Death (if any)

adksajdlaj Alma. ALMA. I’m not over it and I will never be over it. And I’m going to be writing all these blasted fairytale fics centering on him because of it. XD

When Kanda returned to Mater because I WAS WORRIED. ;__;  (I had already lost Alma and I just...did not have it in me. T__T)

Saddest Moment

Alma and Kanda having their last moment together in Mater - it pairs with the worst character death for me, but nothing made me sob my eyes out harder than Kanda seeing Alma walking away with “that person” before they sink back into the mud. ;__; I could go on about why it’s the saddest moment, but right before that - probably when Allen sees “that person” is Alma’s soul? And they ask Allen to not look at them. That was just...my heart shattered into a million pieces in that moment. (Since I’m talking about these two quite a bit, I will say - the part on the journey to Edo where Lavi and everyone thinks Allen is dead, and Lavi snaps at Lenalee. That just...oof. That scene stood out to me and really punched me in a way I wasn’t ready for.)

Favorite Location

Mater, because I love suffering. (Also, the inside of the Ark looked so cool? It was like a Mediterranean city and I loved it.)

1. How did you discover DGM?

I had actually discovered D.Gray-Man years ago, at a friend’s house when I was living in another city. I was having a sleepover at her house, and I had found the first volume there, so thinking that the cover was interesting, I picked it up, and read it.

16. If you had Innocence, which type would you like to have?

Oooh, good question. I feel as though I would like to have Crystal Innocence, but that can also be a bad thing, since it does respond to subconscious cues and thoughts, and for me, that could honestly become a hazard for not only myself, but those around me. Also, using your blood to form a weapon sounds pretty badass.

21. If you could be in a group with a (few) character(s), which character(s) would you choose?

I guess that really depends on what kind of group, but for the sake of arguing, I’ll go with friend group. The bigger issue would be picking what few characters I would choose. To keep things simpler, I’ll be sticking with five characters. Those five would be; Allen Walker, Arystar Krory III, Lavi, Lenalee Lee, and Miranda Lotto.

27. What are your thoughts about Innocence?

Hm… the manga gives you the feeling, that most of the time an Innocence feels more like a burden to it’s bearer, rather than a gift from God, and it also punishes them, if they start to doubt or whatever, by making them a Fallen One. Even tho Innocence can kill Akuma I still don’t think it’s a holy weapon pure of – yeah – innocence. There’s something wrong about them, I can’t put my finger on yet. (+ look at Apocryphos. That thing doesn’t give a fuck about life and humans, which should be what an Innocence protects)

29. With whom would you absolutely not want to drink with?

Probably Bak xD I think he starts to talk A LOT if he’s drunk and I don’t wanna hear him whine about Lenalee the whole time.

1. How did you discoverDGM? 

Seven years ago (I’m not sure…) Isaw a Lavi fan-art on Facebook,after I tried to find information aboutthe character and the manga and I discovered DGM. I bought the first volume becauseI really liked the gothic art style and the plot, but after reading it I thought:“Oh my God! It’s fantastic, I want to read the second volume!”. Love at firstsight  :’)

9.  If you could be in a relationship (any type)with a character, who would it be?

Lavi! 

10. Do you prefer the anime or the manga? 

The manga, I love Hoshino art style.
