Okay so i might be super crazy out here with my prickcest glasses shoved so far up my nose and AGAIN ZERO COHERENCE. WE ONLY GO OFF VIBES ON THIS BLOG BUT———

The whole thing with Goldenfold and Water-T was super prickcest coded???? Goldenfold stating that it was all about the homework he never finished but REALLY it was about the betrayal??? And after that Goldenfold supposedly didn’t really recover… hmm THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR! EMOTIONAL BETRAYAL SO DEEP THAT YOU CANT RECOVER FROM IT? HMMMM

But seeing them having to work together as reluctant allies but come together in the end with the individual strengths was so good..

I also loved how Morty pointing out the conflict w Goldenfold was almost like a conversation i swear he had with Rick about Prime… perhaps not on screen but aaaaa

This whole season’s theme has been about teamwork, betrayal and conflict resolution… (i guess pretty standard story tropes/devices(?) but lordy i keep thinking about prickcest)

I liked the episode, i thought the puns were hilarious lmao I thought it was particularly funny that they managed to squash a ‘movie’ into a 25 min episode lmao and made that a running bit

I probably have more thoughts but im so scatterbrained 🥲😩 i may add to this later

small town dean winchester, he’s a lumberjack, and maybe he also taps maple syrup from the trees behind his house, and he’s so strong and he works so hard and at the end of the day he drinks a few fingers of whiskey and reads books about long journeys and he aches to go on one, but he likes his life, up here in the woods, and he doesn’t wanna miss the turn of fall, and it’s coming up, and so he keeps with his routine, and he sells little maple syrup candies on the weekends at the local farmers market and he has a few trees in his acreage he would never cut down, and he loves those trees, and they have never stopped growing, they just are always there, and his parents actually planted them way back in the 70s, right before he was born. and one day he goes to sit between them, to watch the leaves as they shake against a blue background of sky, and there’s someone there, a man, a man wearing... nothing, moving like water or honey or syrup all smooth and enticing and he shouldn’t watch as this...this magnificent alluring creation dances between his parents trees, he should shoo him away or leave him be, but he can’t, he’s entranced, watching as the man weaves a maple leaf crown like it’s nothing and places it over dark hair and dean feels his cheeks heat because he’s beautiful and intriguing and hell, he’s not supposed to feel things like this for another man, because his father helped get rid of that leaning way back when he was in junior high and would hide out in his tree house with another boy for a little too long, and dean’s frozen, frozen until the man looks, sees him, pins him with deep blue eyes like he has never seen before and he’s lost to the world, he knows it.
