There is a theory that Thanatos never found out that Nyx died. This made me wonder if it was just brought up in the Diabolon by accident.

For example, it may go something like this: Kizin makes a your mum jokes or something and Morgan flatly goes “I’d be curious to know how that works considering his mum’s dead.” They’re all expecting Thanatos to just say something snarky or threaten them and then they just turn to see him staring at them in horror. His world has just stopped and everyone immediately realised exactly how badly they messed up.

Gwi Ma in the Diabolon

The trapdoor is opened and a large group of heavily armed guards march down the stairs carrying between then a small box. They leave it and go and they’re all just sitting around discussing whether or not to open it. Thanatos says no because his pantheon has a whole myth about how that’s a bad idea, Seth says no because his pantheon he was the one sealing people in boxes and knows how annoying it is when someone foils your well enacted plan. Kizin ignores them all and does it anyway and this huge plume of flame bursts out. Thanatos takes a step back to avoid injury, Seth squeals and tries to cling onto Thanatos (earning a slap) Morgan backs away and Kizin is thrown across the cave.

Thanatos: it’s a flame spirit Morgan: maybe it’s some sort of curse Kizin: the new inmates made a great entrance, they’re on fire! Geddit- Seth, solemnly: bisexual fire.

Thanatos, stepping forwards: alright, let’s begin Gwi Ma: I AN GWI MA, DEMON KING, DEVOURER OF SOULS- Thanatos, not paying attention: fascinating, anyway, I’m Thanatos, I’m sure you’ve heard of me, this is Kizin our very own stand up comic who really shouldn’t quit his day job, this is Morgan, a charming lady and dear friend- Morgan: I hate you. Thanatos: my dearest friend. And finally, this is Seth, he’s gay.

Diabolon Halloween headcanons

For Halloween I think Seth would go as the Joker (for the chaos), Kizin would pretend to be a plastic skeleton in a display and jump out at people, they would try and trick Morgan to go as a witch but she’d end up going as La Llorona (the ghost of a woman who killed her kids to make her husband pay for cheating) and after a lot of convincing were Thanatos tried to convince them that because he is literally death he could just go as himself they convinced him to go as a vampire, reasoning that he was already an immortal murderous aristocrat and totally not because Seth thought it was hot.

Every time Vesper and Aster see a plastic skeleton they make fun of Kizin or do a silly impression of him.
