ok I redrew the racecar guy a couple times and I think I’m gonna morph Diaccio, so let’s call him Diaccio. Or at least, that’s the name of the soul inhabiting his body- the owner is the body is racer Mortimer (Morty) Lorenz.

The original backstory I had for Morty is that, after ten successful years of racing (the first five years representing Neopia Central, the last five repping Roo Island), he tragically died in an accident. A particularly overzealous group of diehard (heh) fans refused to let his flame go out, and in the dead of night attempt to raise him from the dead, making him unwillingly return to racing.

So, all of that is true except now I’ve made it worse. Diaccio, a wandering ghost Uni, checks out this body and is like “it’s free real estate,” especially since Morty was hardly tethered to it by that point. However, upon realizing this body was one of a racer, and Diaccio knows NOTHING about it, he drags Morty’s soul back and is essentially making them both share this body, Morty very unwillingly.

The way to differentiate the two is that the hairstyle adapts to Diaccio’s manestyle somewhat when he has taken over. He only ever allows Morty the reigns when it comes to racing.
