Ooc: Lesson learned: I am not a portrait painter........... I ATTEMPTED til draw Gabriel/Richard Speight Jr. I'm not convinced it actually looks like him, though. There are so many mistakes I don't even wanna count them... Still, maybe, for my very first attempt, it isn't 100% bad?
All I want to see is Gabriel being the ruler of Heaven and being the first person who is actually good at it. I want him to be the feared Archangel Gabriel, the one who is known to kill any enemy without hesitation and send “God’s wrath” down to those he deems worthy of such monstrosities, while also being former Trickster Gabe who makes every angel try all of his favorite candies and sends gushes of wind towards Trump’s hair and who makes April Fool’s Day more important than Easter. I want him restoring order, fixing Heaven, setting up a whole new law system, while also teaching the angels the importance of removing their prejudice against other species. I want Gabriel slowly restoring Michael’s power in case he ever needs his brother again, and Gabriel going to Lucifer in the form of illusions trying to talk him into possibly becoming the angel he once was. I want a scene where an angel is being ordered to keep an eye out on someone, just to find out that that someone is Loki’s daughter, Hel, going on a first date with a hunter or something. I want Thor to awkwardly visit Heaven. I want angels to stare at Gabe in shock when he phones someone and calls them “Dad” just to look over at them and mouth “not that one!” I want Gabriel arranging deals with Crowley over which side gets more souls. I just want Gabriel in charge.

So about Gabriel vs Lucifer
Luci is terrifying. He’s the Devil, yet he has made it so everyone loves and trusts him. He’s willing to kill his closest friends/relatives to simply get what he wants, but all he truly desires is his Father’s acceptance. He’s misunderstood so much that I think he’s reached the point where he doesn’t even realize who his true self is. He was cast out and thought of as a villain, so now he feels a need to fill that reputation.
The issue is that he could be playing himself to be that way- a misunderstood angel, hated by those he once loved- to get people to trust and follow him. He could be playing victim for his own personal gain.
Gabriel, on the other hand, is horrified of being the victim. Of being weak. He didn’t want to watch his brothers kill each other, so he fled and erased all traces of himself and literally created a new life. A life where he never ran, but instead makes others run. A life where he has his own victims fearing his wrath. One where he’s a literal god. He creates monsters (Fenris, Hel, Jormungandr, etc.) and kills those he’s against. He’s the complete opposite of a victim.
So it comes to this- would you rather trust someone who wants pity, or someone who is afraid to admit they’re weak?
literally every episode of spn could have been improved by adding dick sp8. The man showed up in season two in a janitor's jumpsuit and was like: "oh sick. I'm going to *minute long beep* so hard they'll never get rid of me." He acted with his WHOLE pussy every single time he showed up!! He even committed to the sabriel bait in s13 ten years after his original debut!! The man is a LEGEND

okay so get this
i had a dream last night that richard speight jr was married to my uncle, who i never see or talk to. my uncle lives in hawaii or la currently.
and in this dream he surprised us with a visit with his husband (our dear rsj (like i wouldnt even be surprised about that tbh my uncle has had some interesting girlfriends)) and i had like, an existential crisis because i was like ‘oh shit son what do i do i have written p o r n featuring characters this man has played and i have seen some very interesting art of him fuck. and i literally ran upstairs and started having a panic attack because i thought i would never be able to do anything sabriel related at all (like amber wtf)
and i woke up in a cold sweat and there was a fucking mouse on the floor (??? could it pls leave we dont need mice in the house) staring up at me like it was telling me to get therapy.
