The horrifying realisation I never told Tumblr about Cosmic Moonrise. And then the realisation that it involves talking about the Fazteam Cosmic Rangers lore. Oh gee oh man, I'll try keep this as non autistic as possible.
In GITM, fazco made a 80'/90's children's TV anime-like called Fazteam Cosmic Rangers, it's essentially lost media by the time the fic starts in 2055. Cosmic Moonrise is one of the hero characters who became corrupted in the TV show, becoming the villain we know as Noon. That's why he looks different. Noon is a theme park animatronic made to be the villain version of this character.
