So about that pen with the worst celluloid: I got it up and writing today. Funny thing is, at first glance it looks fine.

Like, what's wrong with that? A nice swirly silver, right? Who wouldn't like it?

But then you pick it up, and turn it over in your hands, and you start to see The Holes.

The second photo is my favorite. Looks like a bearded eyeless face in there. Just looking at this thing it gets increasingly unsettling.

Which is why the popular collector's name for this pattern is "screaming souls in purgatory." "Screamer" for short.

I really hope someday I can get one in green.

WIP of a not thought through idea. I'll finish it, but maybe that can be a New Year art resolution: do a couple of sketch and thumbnail s of an idea instead of just jumping right in.
