A doodle that's been on my brain after taking part in the Midnight Writers call for stories on the macabre theme for their magazine. I submitted a story and now a doodle, for myself.

Fingers crossed I get published.

I spent a bit of time behind the camera with the skull in my plant pot. This was my favourite. Unfortunately the skull has now disappeared, so I can't do another shot.

Writing is going well an honourable mention in Elegant Literature at the beginning of the month, and long listed in Furious Fiction yesterday.

Writing and publishing a book doesn't feel like a pipe dream.

No plan, just vibes. Nothing wrong with a raven flying through a pink background filled with little skulls. Right?

An old sketch (done like 5 years ago) finally getting some colour. Watercolour wash and acrylic paint on top. I'm damn rusty but happy with it.
