Like Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock also had international co-productions and dubs.
The British co-production had its own live inserts, and it pictured Fraggle Rock as a rock filled island with a lighthouse. These inserts replaced the North American version's outer space segments.
As of 2014, most of these lighthouse inserts were lost. however in December of 2020, all of the 96 inserts were reported to be found in some form by the Missing Believed Wiped group.
This is also the only co-production of Fraggle Rock to complete the series. The French and German co-productions both ended before the 96th episode.
