Yesterday (December 17th) we held a die-in for International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers at Trafalgar Square in London whilst security tried to remove us. This happened within sight of the Trafalgar Square Fourth Plinth where hundreds of casts of trans people's faces are displayed, of whom many were sex workers - a display inspired by a trans sex worker the artist knew years ago.
As members of THORN (Trans Hooker Resistance Network) spoke, security photographed sex workers as many tried to hide their faces for safety and complained to organizers about our presence.
We will not be silenced!
