In 2007, Matchbox released an official Cartoon Network 5 cars package, featuring models carrying themes from Cartoon Network shows.

While I'm not a fan of other CN shows as seen in the package (although they're worth it), the Camp Lazlo theme on a Jeep Wrangler model is easily my favorite one.

When I pack for a day at BGT, I usually end up packing a small comfort item or stim toy. Often, for me, that is one of my diecasts! I've been doing this for a few years now. One day I'd like to try and bring several and match them to different roller coasters around the park.

This is a Lionel 1/64 diecast of Cup Series Ryan Blaney's Moen/Menards paint scheme.

A pleasant surprise on my recent DC trip — this Pontiac driven by Richard Petty to his 200th victory in 1984, on display at the National Air and Space Museum in their Nation of Speed exhibit.

There were three Cars diecasts displayed next to the car: Lightning, Doc, and Strip.

The label reads, “Disney Pixar’s animated film Cars (2006) evoked Americans’ nostalgia for mid-20th century cars and racing, in a story that touched multiple generations.”

So last year, I made these customs of The Burners' cars from Motorcity. It's probably the first Hot Wheels Customs of these vehicles on the site. I'm pretty proud of how they came out.
