Could It Be Aliens?!
As some of you know, I have suffered from stomach issues for almost 20 years. I've had 2 endoscopies and a colonoscopy and multiple blood tests, but they attributed my pain and nausea to diverticulosis and acid reflux. It felt like I had morning sickness all the time.
The COVID vaccine inflamed my gall bladder, which forced me to get my gut health under controll. I began a regime of acupressure & massage, probiotics, and CBD. I thought I had finally found relief because my symptoms got better. I wasn't nauseous or in pain as much.
Then 3 days ago, I was massaging my gut, and I've always had this issue where the pain is worse around my belly button. So I really started squeezing the area hard, especially where there was pain. I lean into the pain and squeeze it harder, which hurts but then the relief is amazing.
Anyway, I grabbed this really tender area around my belly button the other day and squeezed as hard as I could. All of a sudden, it felt like I was squeezing a 1 inch blister, which popped under the pressure of my fingers and actually made a pop and a squeak like I was letting air out of a balloon. THEN 100% OF MY PAIN AND NAUSEA WENT AWAY AND HASN'T COME BACK. It's been 3 days. What did I pop and why didn't the doctors find it? My son thinks it was an alien. What do you think?
i am in so much distress in the facility bathroom, i haven't even clocked in making me at least 10 min late
🫠
i think i might know why it's this bad but honestly...
in the er because i woke up with my heart pounding(was 130 when they took rate) and the nausea still there(after 4 days of constant nonstop nausea), stomach is in pain, I can’t puke, also I shit some blood this morning
So far they recommended i take the stool softeners again and they gave me zofran
i really think this is an unmedicated crohn’s/colitis flareup
My ass needs to see a gastro but i’m scared that my lungs are gonna give out under anesthesia again while they’re doing the colonoscopy
I've been having digestive problems once every two weeks for the last month and a half. I wonder if I'm overstressed or eating something wrong or something.
When you have bad flatulence and it keeps you distracted all night.
ugh my stomach hurts so bad
that's what i get for trying to eat?
Avoiding stomach upset
Foods that trigger digestive problems:
Acidic, spicy, and (everything in the rest of this sentence affects me) fatty foods; caffeinated and carbonated drinks; chocolate; and onions. Notorious gas producers include beans, onions, and cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, and radishes. (These veggies are loaded with vital nutrients, so don't shun them altogether, but enjoy them in small doses.) The same goes for packaged low-carb treats and other foods containing artificial sweeteners--especially the sweetener sorbitol.
Consume foods with probiotics:
Look for yogurts and soy milks that contain strains of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria. In addition to protecting against colds and flu and promoting healthful bacteria, probiotics can help relieve diarrhea caused by infection or antibiotics, irritable bowel syndrome, or Crohn's disease. (I take an acidopholus supplement...maybe I'm taking the wrong thing?).
