Marcus Damon

Can we just talk about Marcus Damon for a second? He was a whole special type of insane and on a whole separate level of power scaling. This man would punch ANYTHING. Think about him being inserted into literally any other season of Digimon.

Marcus in Adventure 01? Dude would find a way to punch Devimon within the first encounter. Gatomon would have stood no chance against him alone, and I guess his Agumon too.

Marcus in 02? You know when TK punched The Digimon Emporer, the guy whose given then so much trouble for a majority of the show, and it was really satisfying? That would have happened sooner, but Marcus would have done it. He would have had no qualms beating the everloving shit out of his Agumon if it had been forcibly turned into SkullGraymon like Tai's Agumon was. THAT'S HOW THEY BECAME FRIENDS. THIS MAN FAUGHT A ROOKIE LEVEL FIRE-BREATHING DINOSAUR IN EPISODE ONE AND MURKED A GIANT CHICKEN NOT EVEN A DAY LATER! BRO!

Put Marcus in Tamers and watch as Makuramon gets suckerpunched so hard that he gets sent right back to the digital world in shame. I think Marcus would have thrived in the whole "let's go to the digital world to rescue Calumon" arc.

DO NOT GIVE MARCUS THE POWER OF A SPIRIT WARRIOR, I'M SCARED TO THINK WHAT HE WOULD DO AS AGUNIMON!!! GENUINELY!! I mean, Takuya kind of looks like he'd be Marcus but scrawnier, so like?? Pop off, it may have played out the same way if those protagonists swapped places lowk?

Before someone says the plot would protect these villains, I know. I understand that. Still, isn't it funny how he appeared in that one episode of Fusion(?) and decked several ultimate level digimon at once NOT EVEN WITH HIS PARTNER. THAT WAS JUST HIM, BRO. THE HUMAN BEING, MARCUS-FREAKING-DAMON!!??

I know based on personal experience, Cyber Sleuth was a fun game. A bit grindy though. If you're okay with emulation, their was a sort of remake/reboot of Digimon world for the Playstation Portable. That's had a fan translation. (I like it because there where little costumes you can stick your Digimon with. Any game that lets you have monsters running around with inflatable water rings, has a good sense of humor. )

Well I’m always a fan of games where you can dress up cute characters, haha. I may check that out if I can get an emulator working (I actually still have a PSP but I’m assuming it was never localized for NA so I couldn’t play it proper anyway)

I was curious about Cyber Sleuth, I remember it was coming out and then... heard nothing about it. I don’t mind grindy games too much (though kinda depends on how grindy)

Have you played the recent Digimon games?

Unfortunately no, the most recent Digimon game I’ve played is the app game Digimon Links, and other than that... probably Digimon Rumble Arena 2? I’d really like to play a newer game though. Digimon Survive looks like it might be good

Apparently, the digimon fandom is alive and well, and we want more variety than just the original gang. maybe that's just me. I want a reboot for Tamers and Frontier too! >:T I'm tired of seeing reboots for the first two generations. Like, the nostalgia has worn thin for it. I'm ready for the other two generations now. :>

Oh, Yamato with Mimi, solely cuz they’re brotp material to me.A random headcanon: He taught himself how to play all of his instruments, except for his harmonica. I think his grandfather taught him how to play it. … He wished his dad would have taught him, really, but his dad has always been too busy. Yamato tried his best to never hold this agains him, though.Also! You know on the first episode when he sleeps by Mimi’s side?? Its because she was scared and he has always been caring and intuitive about protecting others (Crest of friendship and all that). So he just goes “Fine, I guess I’ll just crash here so you dont have to cry, we’re gonna be ok.” and Mimi sucessfully manages a night of sleep, even when she was scared the most, on their first night on the digiworld.General Opinion over said character: A Great Kid. He has all of the Cool, aloof, lonely wolf external attitude and appearance that used to draw me as a child, but his character has more layers than that?? Which is interesting to see, by now. He’s very easily overwhelmed by his emotions, while trying so hard not to be. 

He has to learn, on adventure, that his journey needs to rely on others too, and isnt that one of the most difficult lessons to learn?? ever?? Especially with his trust issues. The hate he used to get for the whole “love triangle” situation is honestly souncalled for.
