I realized I likely have never posted about this, but Imperfect Samples has got to be my own go to for piano.
The reason I say this is because that when I was working on composing songs for piano, I was never satisfied with the sound of the piano, I always felt they never sounded real.
Then, I stumbled onto Imperfect Samples and more importantly their "Fazioli Ebony Concert Grand" (I had a Fazioli F212 in the past) and I realized what was missing. When you play a piano, it's never a clean cut sound. You get scrapes as your foot hits the pedal, your fingers hit against the keys.. etc etc.
Those other pianos are too clean, too perfect, not real enough.
So, without further ado, Here's my piano of choice.
