my first 7/11 day where i can’t get a free slurpee at 7-Eleven..what a bummer.

i think i’m going to find some MIT OCW classes on Digital Signal Processing to make sure this sticks better... I have bits and pieces but I think I need to practice it or apply it to something, and considering i can’t apply it to my project for a few months, we gotta make do!

if you have any recommendations on youtube videos or anything to watch for signal processing, please let me know!

also been working on a fellowship application essay, trying to get ahead of the gaaame

2019. April 18. Thursday #springbreak

I spent most of the day w my family members, becouse quality time is important forasmuch as it is spring break and I'm at home (finally).

Afternoon I studied some DSP (digital signal processing) with one or two smaller breaks, but tbh it's almost midnight now and I will still continue.. :D

Good news coming: tomorrow I'll be going to a little trip w my boyfriend (and his family)! Long since our last trip, it will be great to go somewhere. :))

cuz i’m taking a graduate level dsp course but Im a structural engineer so i’m pretty lost lol.

We did not have our laboratory class today because of the suspension of class in Cavite today. Cavite Governor Boying Remulla cancelled the classes for all levels due to the continuous heavy rain in the province. I had almost finished preparing myself for school and I had already placed my laptop on my bag for the supposed class for the day when Gov posted the announcement on his Facebook page. Hehe. We had a longer weekend (cause August 21 is Ninoy Aquino’s day, a holiday) because of this but thank God we had more time to our assignments. I had already finished my assignment in DSP Laboratory as I mentioned in this blog but I taught some of my classmates about the even-odd function on Matlab because we are a little bit confused on how to execute it. We also had a difficulty on searching for problems on the internet because it seldom shows on the search results of Google. That is why most of my classmates had spent their night doing their homeworks on this subject.

We had submitted the hard copy of our assignments today after the general assembly of our college-College of Engineering and Information Technology. Then we had sent the soft copy of our assignments through e-mail, to Sir Arboleda’s e-mail address.

Any system for which response to sum of inputs is equals to sum of responses to every input is a linear system. But what does it mean? I think I’m starting to understand why math is essential, because, I have a feeling, the only way to understand the point of linearity is picking apart its math and, ugh, examples.
