((Just a head’s up. It will probably be a few days before I’m active again. We’re stress testing the system to see if it will continue to recognize my peripherals after some additional programs and drivers and such are installed. Once we are certain that it won’t fall back into old habits, then we’ll be reformatting and one more time and reinstalling everything again.

This was an experimental install and stress test of windows so we’ll have to do it all one more time and that will be the final product. Talk about a hell of a trauma.))

This has been the most traumatic computer build ever. And no shocker, it is all Windows’ fault. 

We ran an experiment and discovered that--huzzah!--the issue was attaching a Microsoft account to the install before Win10 was done updating itself. So far, our experiment has proved our point. We’ve managed to restart it a dozen times with no new issues.
