Digiweek 2022 Day 7: Graduation (Free Day)

Thank you for growing with us through all our adventures // Happy Odaiba Day. August 1st, 2022
“Until we meet again...”
Happy 22nd Anniversary to my childhood heroes! I’ll never forget the adventures I lived with them either.
@digiweek 2022 - Day 3: Humour
I will probably never grow tired of promoting the Digimon Adventure Tri Stageplay here while simultaneously trying not to spoil too much, but I will say once again: If you love Jyou Kidou, the way he himself is trying to make the (humourous) best out of suffering through his own personal study hell (and meta’ish fourth wall breaking), you will adore this one to bits. He’s the absolute MVP and Koushirou is too oblivious to realize that he’s making it worse.
digiweek 2022, day three: recess (humor)!
finally i can use all these cursed images /lh
i love making silly memes w the adventure cast tbh

DigiWeek 2022, Day 1 (Beginning)
I’m pretty sure this is my first time participating in DigiWeek. I saw the prompt list and something just clicked this year. Soooo I hope I can deliver something good!
The subprompt for today is about characters or series I love and, well, I love Arukenimon and Mummymon, and I love Digimon Adventure 02! To combine all that with the “Beginning” prompt, I decided to do a screenshot redraw from episode 29, where Arukenimon and Mummymon first appear together. Also the moment when I fell hopelessly and completely in love with these characters.
I apologize in advance, I may have a theme for this week.
HAPPY ODAIBA DAY
I’ve had this piece in the works for a while and I’m so excited to share it @digiweek
From left to right: Becky Carter, Steph Summers, Mimi Tachikawa and Sora Takenouchi!!
@digiweek Prompt 1: First Day/Beginnings
Tell us about a character; a character you love, a character you created. Tell us about your favorite Digimon series.
It's been a real long time since I've done something like this but it's nice participate in one again (Even if i stayed up till 3am to finish this then proceeded to do something way too complex for my own good...honestly it's happened like five times before so I'm not too annoyed about it)
Anyway I love Digimon Savers and I love Masaru Daimon.
A big part of the show is proving to people that Digimon and Humans can indeed live together, even when the threat of harm is there, it is worth it for the chance to coexist. So I wanted to draw a calm moment between the two even though both of them are very much Fighty Boys, Masaru and His Aniki give me a lot of feelings.
The place there in is actually the place he and Agumon Fought the first time, the place occasionally gets revisited in the series for some emotional Masaru Agumon moments so I really wanted to draw them just being there, don't ask how Agumon isn't seen by someone just don't think about it-
Digimon Savers is just, such a well-written anime, I love the themes and story of it so much, and Masaru Daimon works So Well in it, I love him so much, he seems so violent but you really get to know him throughout the story.
Masaru is generally a really caring person, he's very upfront and and can be really rude but he really does care for the people around him (and gets really angry whenever someone shows a flagrant disregard for the safety of others) and he outright calls Kurata a coward for participating in the fight (genocide of an intelligent species) yet he's unwilling to actually take responsibility for those actions, he's unwilling to feel the physical and emotional pain of participating in a "fight" (something Masaru says outright, that also being part of why he doesn't want Ikuto to fight, since Ikuto isn't emotionally prepared to when Ikuto first arrives in the human world) and he absolutely hates it when people compromise there own morals because some higher up told them to do something else (See Craniumon) he fits so well into what Digimon Savers wants to say and I love him for that.
