background & personality.
born in dillon on may 9, 2002, to nathaniel and lisa bradshaw, beck is an only child and quite fond of the attention he gets from his parents.
his dad is a dillon native and attended west dillon, cheering the football team on from the sidelines. he was always more interested in auto mechanics than sports, but he did take on “water boy” for a year or two.
his mom is a philly native, on the other hand, and met his dad while in austin for college.
so beck was born in dillon, but he moved to philly with his parents when he was in elementary school, so he considers himself a philly native like his mom. he has spent some summers in dillon to visit his paternal grandparents, though, so he’s likely to have run into some of you at some point.
he just moved back this summer ( his grandparents are getting older, and nathaniel is their only child ), despite arguing with his parents that he should get to finish high school with his friends.
beck loves cars like his dad and has been restoring a classic camaro with him, but he’s a big athlete ( hence the hotshot newcomer )! basketball is his number one, and he managed to nab the captain spot since most of the hype goes to football at this school. also a soccer player, though it’s not something he dreams of persuing like basketball. this is his first year playing football since peewee league, but he’s using his soccer skills as kicker for the team.
he’s got a dry, cheeky sense of humor, and you can almost always find him with a smirk or grin on his face. don’t be surprised if you see him showing off at parties either!
after school and on weekends, you can typically find him helping out in his family’s garage downtown, possibly even fixing up your car.
wanted connections:
childhood friends (1/?) — back in the days when he first lived here, he used to have play dates, sleepovers, and backyard adventures with these muses. (nicky wolff)
dynamic duo (1/1) — these two do just about everything together. they could have been friends from the beginning, met during a summer beck visited, or just hit it off, but there’s no denying their bond. you will hardly see one without the other, and it’s very possible they’ll be causing some mischief. (savvy cassidy)
backyard basketball buddies (2/5) — just a group of 6 kids who play a little 3 on 3 sometimes. beck has come to think of them as his crew and an extension of his family. he trusts them and opens up more than he usually would. their games have really become a time to socialize and vent while they play. (max calero, liz ray)
once upon a time (1/1) — a summer fling from a few years ago, juliette was his first real puppy love. he has fond memories with her, and the breakup was simple and mutual when he went back to philly for the school year. (juliette dawson)
midnight truce (0/1) — beck goes to west dillon. muse goes to east dillon. while beck doesn’t have a strong opinion of the school rivalry, he plays along, but he and muse put that aside some nights when they both can’t sleep. they drive around, get food, and chat. during the day, though, it’s as if they don’t know each other.
family friends (1/2) — this group really only hangs out because of their family connection. possibly their parents all work at the garage, possibly their parents were school friends. (nicky wolff)
other — neighbors, tutor, good/bad influence, what if relationship
