The Island, Earth 456, November 4, 2024

When you’re married to someone, you attend a thousand births and deaths of the people they become. You watch them change and grow in real time. You see them at their best, and worst. You see them laughing with their child and you see them weeping and punching the soil of their loved one’s grave. You’re there for the middle-of-the-night crises, the workplace disasters, the long car rides and time wasted in traffic. The little victories, unexpected pleasures, and occasional ecstacies. You see celebrations and disappointments. You see them dressed-up and gorgeous, and you see them sweating and sick.

And all of this, In-ho can handle. Any of this, he could have faced.

In-ho thought he knew his husband. Gullible, generous, glib Gi-hun. Possessed of a firecracker temper to match his bleeding heart. Willowy and wily and sly. Like a beloved instrument, In-ho knows how to handle his husband.

He doesn’t know what to do with this. This version of his husband that’s trying to kill him.

D!Sun & D!Moon

Moon is a messenger from the city of Plexer, but he’s always wanted to be something more than that. More than a mere messenger boy.

After a chain of events, Moon is forced to take a shortcut through the Fog Forest during one of his deliveries. He meets Sun, a fairytale like creature… just like him.

Will Sun be able to get Moon out of his situation? Could Moon help Sun in return?

Or will things backfire, like most stories?

hello i am sending you an ask because 1. i need to be tagged in the dimensions au stuff and 2. please tell me more if you want and have time your writing is so good tbh i don't remember much about it cause my brain don't work so

Hi hi!!! You may absolutely be tagged!

I've made two posts about the "lore" of this au so far. One of them is very brief and the other goes into more detail

However I do have time and energy to explain a few more concepts because this au is extremely confusing so far sdfghjkhgfds

So I wanna talk about the multilordian government because... they kinda suck.

So multilords are super strict about the sort of things they can do, and since they are socially deprived they are also super particular on who they associate themselves with. It is super rare to know like another multilords name, unless you are adjacent to them, however, adjacency is extremely frowned upon, to the point where it is outlawed in some places. If someone finds you to be adjacent to another multilord, or god forbid multiple of them, you can get in serious trouble and in some cases really hurt, even though it is something you can't control. What is celestial adjacency you ask? Being adjacent to another multilord means that there is a direct link between your forces of life. It's not a very well understood concept, but there is something that directly links you to another multilord. Most of the time this leads to you sharing the same complex. In all the recorded cases of it, it is seen to be present since creation, there is no record of adjacency developing over time. It is said to be outlawed because it shows a dependency on another being, which is seen as a fatal flaw in their society, but there are also other reasons that I wont disclose just yet because that would be a major spoiler sdfghjgfdsdfs.

Also, I feel like it's worth mentioning that once multilords begin being mentored, they are forced to take a vow of "loyalty". The conditions of this vow means that they are not allowed to express themselves in any way shape or form, which essentially just boils down to no singing, no making of art, and no crying (at least in front of anyone). This has lead to things called 'revolution choirs', which is basically a bunch of multilords gathered together to sing, and as officials get close they stop singing so no one can prove that any one person was ever making a sound. In a worst case scenario, everyone gets punished, but most of the time they are left alone as they are known to put up a fight. The breaking of a vow is one of the highest dishonours.

On a lighter note, here are some cute little things about their species, because some of them aren't all that bad.

- They are fascinated by humans and other non-celestial creatures, to the point where they could sit and talk to them for hours

- They have a different form for each type of living creature, but their human forms are the most fragile and not very well developed. This leads to them reacting to certain earthly substances. For example, direct skin contact with water will turn that particular part of their skin to a more celestial human form. (it doesnt hurt in any way and yes this will absolutely lead to water balloon fights while they are on Earth)

- Most have never heard earth music in their lives, and most will cry or try not to cry when they first hear it

- They don't really eat, but when given the opportunity most try and find it fascinating

- They only need to sleep for 30 consecutive hours each month to maintain productivity (as opposed to a humans average 224 hours a month). When down on Earth, a few of the sides try and sleep 8 hour nights and are absolutely amazed by the concept of dreams.

- The practise of dancing is the only form of expression that is allowed, so most are very good at it, though none had ever thought of dancing to music, they find the concept very odd.

- When a multilord is hurt (usually a soldier) surrounding multilords will flock to surround them in a protective huddle, so no being can take advantage of their vulnerability (and because they care, whether they know it or not)

For the dimensions AuU do you have any thoughts on names for the dimensions? I figure we can't keep calling them "_____'s world" I was thinking maybe Quarry something for Sapnap's world but am open to anything.

Quarry sounds great as a name! Better then anything I can come up with!

Maybe for Quackity's universe it could be the Mobia dimension? That's honestly the best I can do. Sorry.

Anyways, maybe we could come up with a few more dimensions for them to explore? Since I'm honestly coming up a bit low for ideas.

Like a pirate dimension called SaiSai (like Sail-Sail?) Where they meet Captin Puffy and hear of her Dareing adventures.

Oh! This could be fun! An Egyptian universe where they meet and either befriend or offend the God of Rebirth and the Sea, Foolish! Maybe called Pyri (like pyrimid)?

Any other ideas?

More Dimensions au

- In Felix and Marinette's dimension, they're no longer friends with Alya and the rest of the class because of Lila. She managed to turn everyone (except Chloe  who didn't believe that rat. But didn't want to get involved) against them.

- At first, Marinette tried hard for her friends to believe her, but nobody did. Not even Alya, who was supposed to be 'her bestfriend'. Marinette didn't blame her, Lila always managed to make up a lie, or some "proof", about whatever she told them, and Marinette had no idea how.

- And of course, Adrien did nothing but watch. She didn't blame him either, his whole life he never had the chance to stand up for himself, so now that he has it, he doesn't know what to do.

- Then, a couple of weeks later, she decided that she was gonna do what Felix said and Ignore them, and, in the worst case, fight back.

- Marinette and Felix started to date a couple of days after she ignored them.

- Lila got jealous and manipulated the class into trying to make them break their relationship. Alya and Adrien were the ones to stopped them (They thought Felix was a bad influence for her,  but they could see that he cared about Marinette)

- Marinette and Felix were the first ones to use the ladybug and black cat miraculous and they used them for so long that their spirits kind of bonded with their the magic stones (This also happened to the other superheroes)

- Because of that bond they shared, their spirits are immortal. If they die in one life, they could see each other in the next one. (Different body, same spirit) However, they won't remember their past lives unless they get their miraculous (They have dreams or flashbacks about the past when they see or do something)

- The Guardians tried to give the miraculous to their rightful owner in all of their lives, but not in all cases they could do it (it doesn't mean that the superhero chosen was evil)

- Unlike the others, Ladybug and chat noir get more easily and fast their memories because they're most powerful and they have spent more time with their miraculous.

I'm just trying to explain what things are different before starting the au, ok? Ok

not gonna lie, this one im pretty attached to so who knows! maybe one day it will become a thing? 

Black hair cut short to her shoulders, golden eyes, a barely there smile. “Well then, look what the cat dragged in,” Blake says, smiles boldly, plops directly next to Yang and nudges her over with her hip. She reaches for Yang’s coffee and takes a sip before sticking her tongue out in distaste. “No offense, Ruby. I’m sure she came here for you as well.”

A flip of Ruby’s hand. “No worries. I know the truth.”

Silent. Yang finds herself without words or responses. How did she get here? Besides the literal inter-dimensional travel, of course. What has this version of herself done to land in this barely sanitary pancake house with a beautiful girlfriend on one side of her and her little sister across, cracking jokes and having fun and everything just so right. 

“You okay?” Blake asks, places her chin right on Yang’s shoulder and looks down at the menu in her hands. 

“Yeah,” Yang’s answer comes out on a shaky breath, and she clears her throat, hopes that she can find clarity between the pages of glossed up pancakes. “Still waking up I guess.”

Blake’s hand moves beneath the table, slides over Yang’s leg and squeezes her knee. Like she’s found a truth, like she knows even when Yang doesn’t. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

“Well, I’d say,” Weiss says, standing in front of their booth. She has the same long ponytail, same light blue colored dress, Yang sees the necklace that still fell halfway down her chest. She sits beside Ruby and crosses one leg over the other and picks up a corner of the menu. “I don’t know how you all continue to convince me to come here.”

“Because you loooove us,” Ruby taunts, reaching up to pinch Weiss’s cheek and somehow things make sense here now. They’re all friends. Close friends. The sort that meet on a day off for a late breakfast and who make fun of each other as forms of affection. 

How can a world where everything fits so right also be one where Weiss Schnee just so happens to be one of Yang’s best friends?  

“Hardly,” Weiss sniffs and she’s so the person Yang knows as her miserable co-worker and yet so easily slipping into this friend this version of herself must have known for years that it’s startling. “I tolerate most of you only when necessary.”

Ruby rolls her eyes as Blake says, “Aw, Weiss, you tolerate us?” with a hand to her heart. “Stop, I’m gonna cry.”

“But you love me most of all, right?” Yang joins in on the teasing, pops her elbows right on the table and rests her chin in her palms, stare fixed.

Weiss looks between Yang and Blake. “I believe Blake has that covered already,” she says in a dry tone and Blake flushes bright red in a second.
