Both of them would back track pretty hard and try to fix whatever caused the person to leave. Though Wyatt would give up far quicker, sometimes he gives up before even trying.

//Ya know... It honestly took me until like my last watch/playthrough for it to click. First it was a slight notice of “oh my god why is he attractive?” and then it was really, truly and deeply digging into his character. In the timespan of less than a week I consumed everything from wiki articles to playing games to watching every cutscene of 1-8 with him that I could get my hands on. 

I studied everything about him from his voice, personality, the changes in him, the trauma, to his body language and movements. When I did that? It clicked. I share some big traits with Chris. I may not be a thicc, fine looking, badass man, but... I too struggle with complex PTSD and years of trauma that are unresolved and the surface barely even scratched. I connected with how much he fucking cares about everyone else. 

Yes, he’s human and he fails like all of us. Things don’t always go the way he wanted them to, but goddamnit... He will put the needs of anyone he cares about... From his own beloved family, to his friends, to the men or ANYONE on his team or under his command, to his lovers. He would give anything and stop at nothing for them, but he doesn’t care what happens to himself. 

I connected with and identified with how tired he looks in 8... How many years of this he’s lived through... All he’s been through and all he’s lost. I understand Chris. This is all what made me choose him. He is so much more than just a bulky, behemoth of man with a penchant to punch some boulders... He has the weight of the whole fucking world on his shoulders, but he keeps pushing through and... In a way, he’s the whole heart of ResE.

Rian did no such thing. He couldn’t say he was overly surprised to be grabbed - it wasn’t the first time. It was, however, one of the first times he’d ever been grabbed by a woman so unusually large - yes, he could tell as much even though she was still behind him. It’d also been a while since someone seemed intent on strangling him rather than simply shooting or stabbing him to death. 

He could have attacked, but he didn’t make a habit of killing someone who wanted him dead without at least discovering the reasoning behind it. 

So he stood still for just a fraction of a second, as if complying, then abruptly moved backwards to loosed her hold on him. Then he spun in the opposite direction of her arm, moving away from her hands. 

As he moved back, he drew his gun from beneath his jacket, holding it between the two. 

Let that stand as his answer.

Someone who is older or a ghost.

Honestly... he wants someone that he can click with. Someone he can do whatever with, someone who loves every part of him and joke with. Someone who won’t leave after he has bad anxiety attacks or leave after they found out about Ivan’s powers. That’s how he would treat his significant other and someone who would do the same would make him melt.

He’s not really looking for the moment, just waiting for it to naturally happen.

Karl had to restrain himself right then. Had Dani been almost anyone else, he would have killed her on the spot. He was still tempted to do it... he wasn't very good at controlling his temper.

"I inherited it... from my real family," he quipped coldly, baring his teeth under the brim of his hat. "Say that one more time and your mother might just lose her youngest fake daughter."
